Native Tongue calls York Butter Factory our first home

As the Native Tongue team prepares for TechCrunch Beijing where we will demo our first Mandarin Chinese language-learning game Mandarin Madness, we thought it prudent to arrange our Melbourne base of operations after months of working from make-shift offices and appropriating cafe space as our own much to the chagrin and amusement of Melbourne cafe staff. (Strong three-quarter latte extra hot anyone?)

With Melbourne’s booming tech and startup scene quickly becoming the hub and concentration of Australia’s brightest talent, we wanted to be in the midst of the action, and for this reason the Native Tongue team is proud as punch to introduce Native Tongue’s first Melbourne office space at York Butter Factory.

If you’re in Melbourne, drop in and say hello. We’re the first people you will meet if you can get past the York Butter Factory gatekeeper who requires the correct answering of three highly complex riddles at risk of decapitation.

Now to pack for TechCrunch Beijing.
